The Mayor's Announcements
Planning & RSVP
What's on each page of this site?
We gave our pages a little Halloween Town flair, so here's a quick guide:
The Spiral Hill Timeline page – the schedule for the big night
Where to Rest Your Bones page – camping with us and nearby hotels
Beyond the Spiral Hill page – things to do in and around Ventura
Oogie Boogie's Dance Party page – add songs to our dance party playlist
Join Us in Halloween Town page – our RSVP
Can I bring a plus-one or my kids?
Of course! Plus-ones and kids are welcome. Just be sure to include them on your RSVP so we know how many to plan for.
Do you have a registry?
No registry for us. Your presence is the gift!
The Big Night
What should I wear?
It's totally casual. The whole point is to gather with family and friends. We're not worried about what you wear.
Should I dress up in costume?
This isn't a traditional dress-up wedding, but if you'd like to dress within the Nightmare Before Christmas theme, it would be amazing!
Will there be food?
Yes! Dinner will be provided by a taco vendor. We'll do our best to accommodate food allergies, so please list yours under Dietary restrictions on your RSVP.
Will there be a bar?
There's no bar service since the venue is a county park, but you're welcome to bring your own alcohol. Our campers might even share their personal stash with you!
Camping & Lodging
I don't like dirt. Do I have to stay with you?
We'd love it if we had the campground full of our friends and family, but if you'd rather stay in a hotel or an Airbnb nearby, we understand that too. Check out our Beyond the Spiral Hill page and meet up with us!
When can campers arrive and leave?
Campers can arrive as early as noon on Friday, July 2, and check out is Monday, July 5.
What facilities are at the campground?
There are restrooms on site, and the RV sites have water and electric hookups.
It's a holiday weekend. Anything I should know?
Since it's the Fourth of July weekend, lodging may fill up quickly, so we recommend booking sooner rather than later. We'll be staying through the holiday, and if you don't already have holiday plans, we'd love for you to stay too!
Getting There
Where do I park?
Since we're renting the entire campground, parking isn't a problem, and there will be signs to guide you when you arrive. Just be sure not to block anyone in.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible. Please reach out to Jen or Sean with your needs, and we'll provide preferred parking.
